    How the migration checklist works

Done counts 1, in progress counts 0.5 and not started counts 0. Readiness is the share of the maximum, for each group and overall.

Blockers are the items where a mistake reaches players or the regulator directly: money, protections and the ability to roll back. Any blocker not done keeps the status at not ready, whatever the percentage says.

Planning estimates. They do not replace a measurement on your own systems.

    In practice

A platform migration fails in money and player protection, rarely in the user interface. That is why balances, pending withdrawals, self exclusions and limits are blockers: if any of them is wrong on the first day, players or the regulator notice at once.

Plan the cutover for the quietest hours, freeze withdrawals for the shortest possible window, and agree beforehand which numbers must match before the old platform is switched off. Rollback criteria decided in advance are what make a calm decision possible on the night.

    Questions about this tool

How long does a migration take?

Preparation usually takes four to eight weeks, depending on data quality and the new provider's import tools. The cutover itself is typically one night.

Do we have to inform the regulator?

Many licences require notice of a change of platform or critical supplier. Check your licence conditions; we list it as a blocker so it is not forgotten.

    Can players keep their bonuses?

Yes, if active bonus balances and wagering progress are exported and the bonus rules are rebuilt with the same terms. Plan this early, because bonus engines differ a lot between providers.
